Description
Each glass spice jar is meticulously hand painted with herb name, image, uses, fun facts, health benefits and history around the 5 3/4″ circumference. Glass jars are 3″ high with attached lock top lids and rubber seals. Acrylic paints on glass sprayed with a clear varnish for a glossy finish. Spice jars are sold empty.
Anise is spelled out in bright green letters with a black background. The plant, star seeds and cat are rendered in bright greens brown shades. In Britain, anise oil was incorporated into the white metal plain bearings in steam locomotives. This was used to warn of any overheating with the distinctive smell of Anise which is strong, sweet and licorice.
The bright green letters of Clove are surrounded by a cute figure in a “yellow circle smile” tee shirt and sandals. Above is: “helps tummy digest, boost immunity. Little clove nuggets, a pear, apple, “meats” and “marinade” are above the word Clove.
Fennel, in bright green letters, has an image of fava soup and two fresh yellow glasses with “Swiss medical elixir”. Also stated is “seeds: fresh breath”. An image of the Fennel plant and its flowers are also on the glass jar. Safflower has an emblazoned image of the plant in bright orange and yellows. The name is in bright green letters. King Tut’s golden mask is rendered with “found in Tut’s tomb”. Fennel was indeed found in the tomb with a million other items. A happy character with a big smile has “nourishes dry skin”, “hair growth” and “lowers blood sugar”.

HAND WASH ONLY the inside with a little soap on a damp cloth. Do not put glass jars in the dishwasher as the rubber seals will melt.
