Artist meticulously hand painted 2″ x 2″ glass cube with detailed images of medical related scenes and a studious skeleton on all four sides and the bottom. Glass cube is very light weight, free standing and can be hung as an ornament year round. Acrylic paints on glass sprayed with a clear varnish for a glossy finish. Gift box included.
A skeleton has its bony hands on skull engrossed in studying the medical book below for an exam. Above, on a bright blue background, is a list of some of the human parts that will need to be memorized. Above that, is a grinning white skeleton head decorative button for good luck! One panel shows blood pressure being taken with detailed forearm and doctor’s white sleeve arms.
A deep red human heart with blue ventricles is painted accurately against a white background. Parts of the human heart are listed by location. The staff with snakes and wings, also known as a Caduceus, is painted with blues and white. It is contrasted against a light background mixture of yellow, yellow ochre and white.
The bottom of the glass cube has a diagram of a transparent human body. Oh studious skeleton, don’t forget this one for your studies! A list of kidney, liver, larynx and lung are on the sides by location.
Complimenting all of these medical images, are adorable decorative buttons. There is a red thermometer, pink band-aide, grey stethoscope and grinning skeleton head (the studious skeleton’s good luck charm). Ribbons are attached at the top. An elastic hanger is hand strung with beads of various size, shape, color and texture. Turquoise beaded and sequin trim is attached around the top of the glass cube.
