Description

Artist meticulously hand painted 3 1/4″ tall glass spice jar with detailed images, text, uses, history, plant, flower, leaves and roots around the 6″ circumference. Attached lock top lid with rubber seal. Acrylic paints on glass sprayed with a clear varnish for a glossy finish. One tough glass container for its size.

Turmeric is spelled out in bright green letters against a black background for a high contrast. The herb plant with flower, leaves and roots along with powdered form is rendered against a white background around another side. A pepper shaker and text illustrate the use with Turmeric for maximum absorption. The background is bright yellow to a deep red gradient. A beautiful woman in formal dress is hand painted with the Taj Mahal in the distance along with text depicting how the herb is used and considered a holy receptacle. Text hand painted in black against a blue background describes the taste.

HAND CLEAN ONLY the inside with a little soap on a damp cloth. Do not put in the dishwasher as the rubber seal will melt and acrylic paints compromised.
